CSAH 1 – Project Updates

September 2017

Coordination has been taking place with local partnering agencies and the 75% Preliminary Plans have been submitted to them for review and comment.

Design continues to progress to meet a 2018 construction schedule. A Public Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Northfield Senior Center.

March 2017
Based upon input from the CSAH 1 Scoping Committee and the agreed upon level of participation, the project scope for this project has been finalized.  The finalized scope will include a roundabout at the intersection of CSAH 1 and Highland Parkway/Farrel Avenue, a trail segment south of CSAH 1 from Highland Parkway to Erwin Way and a below-grade trail crossing to connect to the existing trail north of CSAH 1 near Erwin Way (east of the existing pond) to the proposed trail.

September/October 2016
CSAH 1 Scoping Committee Meeting Update held on Wednesday September 14, 2016.  Follow up meeting to take place in October.

July/August 2016
Project Management transitioned to Mathew Thibert, PE. Project team evaluating pavement and stormwater options.

June 2016

Received preliminary soil boring logs from Braun Intertec, design work of conceptual layouts continues.

January 2016
ISG continues to design conceptual layout options, geotechnical investigation by Braun Intertec.

December 2015
Topographic survey complete, designing conceptual layout options.

November 2015
CSAH 1 project is currently being surveyed by ISG.

October 2015
