LE SUEUR COUNTY ZONING AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
The Le Sueur County Land Use Plan were adopted identified the revision of the County's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance. This update is essential to the County in attaining its goals and for implementing the County's Land Use Plan. The following is an update of the activities involved in the proposed Zoning Ordinance changes for Le Sueur County.
January 9, 2012 There was an open house for the Zoning Ordinance that was at the 4H Building. There were approximately 50 to 70 people in attendance.
January 24, 2012 A work session was held with the County Board to discuss outcome of the Open House as well as other comments from the County Board.
February 9, 2012 The Planning Commission met to discuss outcomes from the Open House and possible proposed revisions to the Ordinance.
March 2012 The County is seeking clarification on public ditches being treated as a public water and therefore being subject to Shoreland zoning regulations.
