Travis leads ISG’s Environmental Group with over 10 years of experience in environmental review, regulations and permitting. From testing and assessments to permitting, Travis leads a team of talented and skilled scientists and engineers to meet the environmental requirements for our clients in order to ensure successful project outcomes.
Travis thrives on managing complex environmental projects and is able to effectively navigate the permitting process for clients. He routinely works with engineers to identify and minimize impacts in the planning stage as well as address environmental compliance in the field during construction. Travis is an expert at working with contractors to identify reasonable environmental solutions in the field while also understanding the need to keep a project moving forward and meeting project-specific environmental compliance standards.
Travis has extensive knowledge of regulatory permitting and compliance from his project experience with local, state and federal water resource laws in communities throughout Minnesota. His municipal expertise includes stormwater management, wetlands, natural resource evaluations, compliance inspections and plan development. Travis also has extensive city and township experience in developing Comprehensive Wetland Management Plans, administering the Wetland Conservations Act, providing development plan reviews and implementing the MS4 permitting process for numerous Twin Cities communities.
With a degree in Ecology, Travis is a Certified Professional Wetland Scientist, a Certified Wetland Delineator and a Certified NPDES-SWPPP Designer and Site Manager. He also has a 24-Hour HazMat Worker Certification and is a member of the Minnesota Wetland Professionals Association.
