I&S worked with the Farmington School District to select a turf system that met their expectations for high environmental and safety standards. The turf selection was based on the product’s ability to meet the school’s needs within the budget allowed.
I&S provided detailed specifications to meet the school’s expectations for:
Turf warranty
Impact absorption qualities
Lifespan and safety conditions
The project was then bid by invitation only to ensure the school only received bids from qualified vendors meeting the predetermined criteria that I&S helped the school establish.
Upon the selection of a turf vendor, I&S designed a base for both the synthetic turf field and the synthetic surface track running the perimeter of the field.
The base was designed to appropriately support the selected synthetic turf and the track surface while also providing the drainage necessary for optimal performance and lifespan.
The result was a safe and environmentally sound playing surface enjoyed by athletes and fans alike.
