To meet indoor air quality requirements, the Frazee-Vergas School District needed to make improvements to the elementary school in Frazee. I&S Group provided design and construction administration services for a complete ventilation replacement at the school. The project included the installation of new rooftop air handlers with energy recovery wheels and a full direct digital control system. The existing hydronic heating system was able to be utilized with minimal modifications.
I&S also provided ancillary architectural and structural engineering design for the project. The $1.7 Million project was completed by the beginning of the school year in September 2009.
