DownloadsThe main design objective was to provide additional gathering space for the congregation. I&S worked with members of the congregation on several options for expanding the Narthex; including an addition to the South.
I&S provided multiple schematic designs of the options and prepared presentation boards for the members to review. I&S also provided a 3-D walk through animation of the addition/renovation.
Design limitations include: that we maintain the ceiling height, provide an accessible restroom, add plumbing fixtures 150ft from the nearest existing fixtures, properly condition the space, keep existing columns, keep within the existing city easements and keep within the existing canopy.
