The Quarters At Iowa City

ISG collaborated with The Tailwind Group to design The Quarters at Iowa City, an off-campus student housing community. This project was another opportunity with the client to redesign a dilapidated residential complex into modern and community-centric housing targeted for college students. Structural concerns necessitated the replacement of wood trusses, siding, and roofing. Significant masonry restoration was needed on the building’s exteriors. The renewed housing complex boasts 900 bedrooms, a clubhouse, and a customized gable overbuild to create a welcoming entrance for residents and visitors.
