Mankato, Minnesota, February 16, 2009 – I&S Group, Inc. (www.is-grp.com) is pleased to announce the addition of Steve Schlaak, PE and Bob Mickelson to its growing team.
Steve is a Mechanical Engineer and will be working with I&S’s vertical services group providing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing design services. Through his eight years of professional experience, Steve has specialized in mechanical designs for commercial properties. Steve is a graduate of the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota. He has worked on projects of up to 200,000 square feet for local and national clients including the Mall of America, Target, and Best Buy.
Bob is a Senior Project Manager with I&S, focusing his efforts on construction document review, cost estimating, contract administration, and review for constructability. Bob has a strong background in the building trades, and has a unique combination of hands on experience and the business of contracting. He comes to I&S after 20 years with Associated Lumber Marts/ALM Builders in Waseca, most recently serving as president since 2004.
