A neighborhood was created out of a 37 acre site in Faribault, MN including a residential development with single and multi-family units, a park, over twelve acres of wetlands, and a small commercial area. Previously, an abandoned restaurant stood at the gateway to the City, serving as an eyesore to the area sited at the northern border of a golf course. Together with the City and the Developer a development was created that enhanced both the geography and the economy of the area.
The Village housing development consists of twelve single family homes and 74 multi-family town homes and condominiums. A business and retail area was also designed to buffer the neighborhood from Minnesota Highway 21 and provide added convenience to nearby residents.
