With help from ISG’s experienced team, Unilever was able to construct a 90,400 square foot ice cream facility adjacent to an aseptic, ready-to-drink products plant while allowing existing operations to continue without disruption during construction. The 800,400 square foot project highlights included a new, 67,000 lb/hr steam system, automated cold storage and retrieval system, and ceiling reinforcement design for roof-located utility equipment. ISG has also provided design and engineering services for a number of additional Unilever projects, including a 223,000 square foot facility in Sikeston, Missouri and a 175,850 square foot plant in Henderson, Nevada.
